Maddie Jackson is an illustrator based in Grand Rapids, MI. She attended Kendall College of Art and Design, graduating with a BFA in Illustration.
Jackson is an illustrator concerned with bright color palettes, lush texture, fashion and style. She is excited by art that empowers people to live fully in their unique truth. This is expressed in her work through her both flamboyantly feminine and androgynous figures, which embody a kind of freedom of gender presentation she hopes to see in the world.
While her main passion lies in all areas of painting, she also enjoys writing music, lifting weights, drag queens, and garlic stuffed olives.
